Who we are

About

Prop Press covers UK-facing proprietary-trading firms — the paid evaluations, the funded accounts, the published rulebooks, the promotions, and the payout claims — Funded accounts, under the lamp. We write for the reader who is thinking of paying a challenge fee and would like to know what the fine print says before the marketing does.

We are an independent, commercially supported publication. We may earn affiliate commissions or advertising revenue from some links on this site, and that revenue never dictates our conclusions: sponsored content is disclosed at the top of the post, sponsored links are marked as such in the page's code, and no score or verdict is for sale. The full version of that promise lives on our editorial policy page.

What we cover

Two things, forensically. First, promotions: what a firm is actually promising, to whom, and how that sits against the UK rules on financial promotions and money-laundering obligations. Second, proof: what a published payout total, profit split, or "verified" badge actually evidences — and what it cannot. Reviews read a firm's published models, terms, and pricing the way an examiner reads a promotion; news covers the regulatory and commercial picture around the sector.

How we work

From documents. We assess published rulebooks, terms of service, pricing pages, and the public record, and we attribute what we cannot verify ("the firm advertises…", "per the regulator", "as of this writing"). We do not invent statistics, quotes, or test results, and we do not publish income claims — ours or anyone's. Reviews run under the byline of our editor, Nora Fenwick, a disclosed house pen name maintained by the editorial team; news runs under "Staff, Prop Press". Prop-firm challenges are paid evaluations, not investments, and nothing we publish is financial advice.
